First thing to do you must do in war is show in the picture below

Blue : naval move , Black : land move

First make a naval invasion with 80%  unite force and a general  to Ireland , liberate Ireland and then move to Scotland ,

This step continues until Prussia attacks you , you must have alliance with Hessen and the other German small countries as well , maybe you can join war with them , but actually if you know when you are in the mood attack.

You second plan is to settle the land under your command , so with your armies in Austria expand your teritory and liberate Hungry and Romania to keep your enemies busy.

Give your protectorates all technology u have so they are able to defend themselves and defend them at all costs. If possible try to gain something in return but don't be fussy.

Forge an alliance with Saxsony and Hessen and have a very nice relationship whit them to put Prussia in a hard positon.
Bribe other countries to trade embargo your enemies
and in Engeland in hatchur part raid all english cities to keep them in check and if possible raid london and bring all city to dust , the roial navy will not bother you any more.

English economy is based on sea trade. Never raid their sea trad roots or Ottomans will join war against you because of this. then you are ready to conqure the Prussia and Russia

Third part is Prussia

Make 4 Full armies in your stile and 1 supporting troops including canons and cavalry , the lead armie is napoleon's army
Go as shown below and finish them in few months , now u are most power full in the game , nobody can bother you.
Try to reach the best research position and just focus on Brandenburg and West Prussia to conqure the rest will fall very easy.


main point is attack in Winter to Prussia You go beside the coast and their reinforcement will come trough iced lands.

Always keep an eye on Russian armies they will come for their ally defenetly .

how do we put gentleman to spy napoleon total war

very easy just send them to enemy region , their line of sight is less but you can research the line of sight research in your academy and nearly see all of the map .

when gentlemen go in a city the public order will go down , you can make a rebellion if you insert  2 gentlemen in a city witch has no guards to protect , also inserting them won let the army to go out of the city , they stay and you can raid ,

when you leave the region its the for rebels to start , when you are present they are united against you , leave the region and if they repaired attack again , they will spend money to repair and they cant attack , but in the game Austria is economically complicated and this manner is good just in starting time or middle of the game , in the late game its nothing of bother for the enemy .

to protect your lands against enemy spies and gentlemen you must move 1 hang of unit in to the bridges so their infiltration is much more harder .

3 gentlemen are enough for research so spread out and use them for spying or steal research .

How to capture a ship with a small ship

smaller ships are faster and they can run faster from the enemies , mind that with 2 factors u can capture the enemy ships very easy

1 - the wind is against you

2 - u are faster and your sail is not damaged

whit a single ship against 1 first rank ship and 1 fifth ranked ship
firstly do not attack just wait , and don't let them surround your ship , the smaller ship will come first , aim it sails but in the best effective range , and you must have the time to turn away and run .

you aimed the smaller ship and you must capture it first , turn away and this time shoot the sails , mind that one time fire is enough for your ship to lose , never get cough , do not run to the edge straightly but run to a corner .

every time turn and fire the sails until u breck the culumn so the ship is now very slow to chase you ,

we consider now you are done with one ship and it cant chase you , run and let the other ship chase you , so their distance is nearly big , then take down the other ship's sails , now you have to ships without sails , witch chasing you very very slowly ,

you can sink them before they reach you , cause they dont turn and fire from the rare , and if so you are faster and can manuver faster and avoid the shot , keep shooting the sails of the big ship until its totally unmovable , then go to the smaller ship damage it but dont sink it , when the number of canons are less than half you can go in front of it and turn and barage it with grape shot ,

only board the ships when the number of the sailors are 1 to 10 . and your ship is not damaged , because they keep shooting , when you are boarding .

after you captured this ship go to the other , their moral is very low now , again keep shoot from distance and grape shots untill they surrender or die , if its an admiral nelson or , shits alike , forget the capture story before you kill the general and just try to sink it .

Yes they are focused on destroy you as soon as possible but i dont know wasn't my Economy deflect enough? I think i hadn't enough things to ruin their economy that time but you would know that i conquered Vianna this time .

and the naval forces of russia is made because they felt unhappy i was raiding the trade roots from the first place in the game . and Prussia is my ally awfully.

so my guess was true but i have to focus on my plan . on my winning plan in the game .

defend in total war

Because of the penalty of cold you can use this kind of defenses to have advantage in south with Austrian army. the pictures explain and you can calculate. that Austrian army would suffer from cold and fight with your home region and cant stay outside ether. in total war thanks to the great simulation there is no need to fight in winter for poor soldiers.

As planned before you had to construct ships in your southern dockyards to have all south for your nation .

How to capture a ship in total war 2

Before i explained how to capture the ship . in Napoleon total war . now i show how to kill the people in the ship and capture it easy .

we have three gun shot types 

first round gun shot that it would destroy the enemy ship and guns

two chain shot witch used to aim the sails and the third is the grape shot that used to kill enemy soldiers on the rival ship as shown as below you would need it several times to kill as much as you need . otherwise you are too lucky .

How to capture a ship in Napoleon total war

When you want to capture a ship in total war you must Keep two things in mind:

First. your capturer ship must have more troops than the target.

Second. You must kill and lower they number but don't damage the ship as much as possible. For that you need to pin the enemy then use grape shots from close distance to kill the soldiers and sailors.

It is better to destroy the sail first to lower it's speed so you can catch them in case they run. If you want to know how to pin a ship click HERE.

How to think in the sea Napoleon total war

 In Napoleon total war every time you see a weak naval army attack just to capture some ships. It takes 4 or 5 turn to built good ships in Napoleon total war so this is more economic to capture than to build the ships . Use them to destroy your oposite navies. You keep the cost in your pocket and will not worry about losing ships when you learnt this business.

According to my spies in the Great Britain they are building a navy in England. Here in the picture you can see that they also are raiding my trade lines in the sea. They are taking the goods for England.

 Here is the naval battle screen. You can chose to fight with or let it solve automatically. You can run away by chose the white banner . If you chose the white banner your troops go a long distance away from the battle. some times I use this running away to flee the enemy before they attack me.

I've lost two small ships which I captured earlier in the game. Gained 1 big 50 guns ship and sinked one of their battle ships.

After that i sent my forces for repair near to this line and another navy is raiding the English trade lines.

Donate to the nations who dislike you in NapoleonTotal war

Donate the rest of your remaining money by the end of the turn in Napoleon total war.  You are not going to conquer all of the land but you need their Opinion towards your government to be positive. Act quickly and just donate ! Donate your money to them they would be thankful to you in the long run. But do not help nations that they are more powerful and bigger than you such as Spain or England (GB)  Or Austria empire. As rivals they would not like to support you because you are a rival. Small money also means a lot to small nations. By doing this you will have to worry less about many fronts you have to fight if you do otherwise.

As your invasion on English army goes on you must know they will not stand still and they will replay your action as it appears in below they would raid your ports using the far navy in Portugal coast , but they do not have any idea that our ships are coming their way immediately

You can change the people in government during the turn so just when you want to deal with other nations put a capable . when you want  to pass the turn simply just put him to justice minister's place and Do not change them.

In this turn Also do not forget to send your spy to infiltrate the city of Celvers mark because maybe the Purusia is not agree with you about the peace and harmony.

In napoleon total war witch technology must researched first

The best option is National Debt research . It decreases the Upkeep for your Army units and also increases the all of town wealths by five points . also it doesnt have any unrest after it and in the first turns it is better to avoid the research those would make unrest in the nation . and just get people ready to pay more taxes until you built the basics .

As you see the diplomatic relation in the picture you can progress on the trade with the Ottoman empire and start to improve your relations with them to make benefit and also you would protect your trade roots and in the same time you are raiding the English trade lines . as you see there are so many minor nations including the Denmark , Hessen and with 250 payment you can have a trade agreement with Portugal . But beware as you raiding English and Ottoman trade lines the England will raid yours so you have to fight back in the north and also make ottomans to embargo them for a short time and satisfy them with gold or other interest . if they are green with you there is no chance for England to turn them hostile easy and by continue this politics you can destroy the England trade income in the long time

Your first objective is to destroy the Austrian army after they pinned in Wuttemburg and take the Vienna . also you must take the south seas by capture the Sicily and Naples and Sardina .After capturing Cordoba .

And also start good relations with Ottman Empire . They would be your best allies .pin the Russian army in the south and try to make the Ottmans have a conflict with them .
